ECOLOGICAL POLICY

JSC “Azov Greases and Oils” is a leading in Ukraine and the CIS specialized enterprise manufacturing lubricating materials. The plant management is concerned about the environment in Zaporozhye Region and Ukraine as a whole.
Executives realize the responsibility for manufacturing processes effect on environment in the region. The Company is striving for production extension and its volume increase as well as steady decline of technogenic load on natural environment. JSC “AZMOL” considers the environment protection as an integral part of its business.
AZMOL contributes to steady development of Ukraine keeping to the requirements of environment protection laws, efficiently using the natural resources and constantly improving nature protective activities.

Executives of JSC “AZMOL” undertake:

• to keep to environment protection laws, fulfill established normative requirements and the other ones the Company agrees to and which refer to ecological aspects
• to fulfill the requirements of International Standard ISO 14001:2004 as for environment management • to continue improving of the existing ecological management system
• to improve natural environment state carrying out systematic work on reduction of discharge into the atmosphere, decrease contamination in sewers and industrial waste forming
• to implement modern technologies, equipment materials, securing the efficient resources use, essential reduction – in some cases even complete elimination - of negative influence on the environment
• to hold consistent monitoring of environment state, to control the conformity of the plant activity to environment protection laws as well as achievement of planned ecological values
• to prevent emergencies and minimize their possible consequences
• to persist in personnel training to improve their qualification and the level of ecological consciousness and responsibility
• to acquaint contractors with ecological policy, norms and requirements of environment protection and demand them to be kept to
• to systematically inform the public and hold an open dialog about the Company’s ecological activity with all the organizations concerned.
